Research:

In 2009 I studied corporate strategies in declining industries with my colleague Heikki Arbelius. The work eventually also led to both of our bachelor's theses (joint version can be found in the GloStra archive - see Publications).  

During the summer 2008 I conducted a study on how universities, research groups and firms could use the new Web 2.0 social software tools to promote both internal and external collaboration. The subject is extremely hot at the moment, with thousands of blogs and articles webwide touching the topic in some way. Organizations all over the world are experimenting on these new ways of cooperating online, some even converting their previous intranets into i.e. wiki-based, user-friendly platforms. The study finally materialized as section in Glostra Wiki, taking advantage of the new features and applications it is preaching about.
